TRAFFIC ALERT: One today – repaving until approx 1pm (and again 1am to 1pm Sunday) on West Marginal Way SW between 2nd SW and Highland Park Way SW. SDOT said in its announcement that southbound traffic will be allowed but northbound traffic will be diverted.

COMMUNITY CLEANUP: 10:00 am, meet at 2452 Alki Ave. SW to join jessicaMonthly Beach Cleanup, as previewed here – all ages welcome, no RSVP required.

FREE WEEKLY WRITERS GROUP: Welcome to new participants. 10:30 a.m. – go here to register and get the meeting address. More details are in our calendar listing.

GRAND REOPENING: Fleurt Collective (4536 California SW) at The Junction reopens at 11 a.m. after weeks of renovations and maintenance. Come see what’s new and enjoy snacks while you visit and shop.

WINE & CHOCOLATE: Viscon Cellars‘ (5910 California SW; sponsor WSB) the tasting room is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Chocolate – local creations of Intrigue Chocolate Co. – is in the spotlight with wine this Valentine’s Day season.
