As so many businesses face workforce and staffing challenges, the Chamber has also had to adapt and pivot to continue to meet the needs of our community.

To better serve our community, the Chamber has made new hires and implemented a structural change in staffing to bring more efficiency and we hope the longevity and resilience of our long-term staffing plan.

First of all, please welcome Samantha le, who will join the Chamber as Executive Vice President of Membership. As a refugee from Vietnam and deeply rooted in South Seattle and Tukwila, her life experience will help guide and encourage our work on fairness and awareness of our BIPOC businesses. She received her BA from Trinity Lutheran College and has been a key member of our Committee of Ambassadors. Her background in sales, marketing and project management makes her the ideal person to meet the challenges and opportunities of the position, both increase membership and earned income, as well as maintain relationships and support. programming and marketing initiatives.

Second, please join me in welcoming Andrea De Jesus Infante Landin who will be starting a fellowship with the House to serve as our administrative partner. She recently graduated from De La Salle Bajio University in Leon, Mexico. As a native speaker of Spanish, she will be instrumental in providing assistance and awareness in Spanish, as well as providing key administrative support to staff while learning more about non-profit administration.

Finally, please join me in thanking our entire team as we work diligently and dedication for a smooth transition. Thank you for your support and understanding as we move swiftly and efficiently to implement these changes as successfully as possible.
