Drummond demonstrated how to make his fish tacos in an episode of The pioneer woman. “I cooked super simple recipes,” she said. “I’m going to make fish stick tacos and literally use a bag of fish sticks. They’re so simple, they’re really, really thin.

Drummond spread the fish fingers in a single layer on a baking sheet and baked them in an oven at 475 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes.

The pioneer woman star made an easy coleslaw to go over the tacos. “I happen to think every time you eat fish tacos you have to have a good coleslaw,” she explained. Drummond sliced ​​half a head of cabbage into shreds and added it to a bowl with the dressing.

“Normally, when I make coleslaw, I would spend time making dressing,” Drummond explained. “But I try to keep it very, very simple. So I pull out a bottle of dressing. It’s sort of a Southwest / Thousand Island type dressing. But you can really have any dressing you want, even if it’s just from the ranch.

She added chopped pickled jalapenos to the bowl, explaining, “And then instead of vinegar or milk or some other liquid, I’m just going to pour some of the juice from the jalapeño jar. I love the flavor of jalapenos in jars.

After adding salt, Drummond noted, “Coleslaw is perfect for tacos because it just adds a nice crunch and freshness.” She added chili peppers to the coleslaw to give it a touch of color. “Coleslaw is excellent because it can be kept for a few days in the refrigerator and does not spoil,” she explained.

Drummond assembled the tacos by placing three fish sticks in the center of a tortilla, then topped it with coleslaw, a pinch of grated cheese, green and red salsas, jalapenos and a drizzle of lime juice.
