20:00 – “Previously on ‘Hell’s Kitchen’!” In the 10th episode, Josie clemens was eliminated after being appointed by the temporary leader of the Red team, Kiya. “Josie may have come a long way in this competition, but right now she still needs more time to grow up,” Gordon said after taking Josie’s jacket. Blue team leader Megan nominated Steve for elimination, but he was spared. Who will come home tonight?

8:10 p.m. – It’s a new day at Hell’s Kitchen and the Top 8 are called in for their next challenge. There’s a giant cell phone displaying a fake dating app for chefs, but they’ll use it to match ingredients with one of four proteins: lobster, tenderloin, New York strip, or pork chop. Each team is made up of four members, so they will have to decide who is cooking which meat. Brynn and Steve will face each other first, taking turns choosing ingredients for a lobster dish. Then Emily and Antonio choose for the pork chops, Kiya and Megan choose for the tenderloin, and Sam and Trenton choose for the gang. Then each player must choose another secret ingredient with a blindfold.

8:20 p.m. – Megan hits the blooper coil when she throws a parsnip into the blender without the lid. It explodes in her face, but she’s fine! Just a little embarrassed after the rookie’s mistake. Everyone finishes their meals and Gordon introduces the guest judge Richard Blais to mark each plate. Lobster is first and Richard gives Steve and Brynn a point. In the second round, Megan scores a point for the blue team, but Kiya fails to score for the red team. In the third round, Antonio equalizes the score on Emily. With the score tied, it all comes down to Sam versus Trenton with their New York gangs. Richard isn’t impressed either, so no points are won. As a tiebreaker, Richard chooses his favorite dish of the day, which belongs to Steve. This gives the blue team another challenge up for grabs! They will be pampered in the most luxurious spa on the Strip. The red team will be neck and neck in the toilets and clean the dormitories.

8:35 p.m. – It’s dinner service time and Brynn looks a little tired. She spills things all over the kitchen, so Kiya hugs everyone in hopes of calming the team. With just four chefs in each kitchen, communication is more important than ever. Kiya appears to be playing a leadership role in the Red team and sends out a mind-blowing risotto. Megan’s risotto was a little less appetizing for the blue team, but she quickly corrects her mistakes and both teams serve starters. The Red team has a problem when Antonio and Sam both serve undercooked salmon and steak. While waiting for them to correct their mistakes, Gordon becomes more and more impatient.

8:45 p.m. – “It’s still raw!” Gordon screams as he holds out a piece of salmon in front of Sam and Antonio. These two don’t look strong. In the blue team, it’s Emily who struggles at the meat station after forgetting to grab one of her steaks. It takes her longer to finish the steak, which leads to Steve’s overcooked salmon. Much like the red team, the blue team struggles to serve meat. Back in the Red Team, Sam is so paranoid now that he’s going to send some raw chicken that he starts overcooking it and pissing Gordon off even more. As part of the blue team, Steve is determined to take his second chance and checks everything three times. The strategy is working and the blue team is on the move.

8:55 p.m. – Gordon yells at Antonio to help Sam with the chicken. He thinks Antonio is afraid to screw up the meat and he hides at the vegetable station. The red team is a mess! The blue team ends their dinner service and ends on a high note, likely ensuring safety for all. The red team sends chicken for the fourth time and it is raw. Gordon got it and kicks the whole kitchen team out. The Red team will have to pick two nominees for elimination and it is pretty clear that those nominees have to be Antonio and Sam.

8:59 p.m. – As expected, Antonio and Sam were nominated for elimination. When asked who the weaker leader is, Sam can’t find an answer. It’s hard to watch. Then Gordon asks Antonio the same question and he quickly names Sam. Gordon asks Sam to return his jacket. Gordon’s last words: “Sam wrestled with chicken all night, then struggled to give me a straightforward answer. I had no difficulty taking his jacket.
