The beginning of a year is a time of renewal. Ditch the old, make way for the new! And so, as the calendar turns to 2022, we leave our trusty Live Culture blog.

Since 2013, Live Culture is Seven days readers’ go-to resource for the latest arts and culture news, original series and extended interviews, and…well, whatever we’ve been itching to throw in here.

From concert and festival previews to awards announcements to ongoing updates of coronavirus closures in March 2020 up until then, we interviewed the shaggy beard of VPR host Joel Najman – hey, it was a slow news week – this blog offered a potpourri of both offbeat and serious content.

But it’s time to tie things up a bit, streamline and declutter our online space for optimal enjoyment.

Fun and creative content doesn’t disappear, it just moves to different places on the website. You can now head to the Arts + Life, Music or On Screen sections between weekly issues for everything we write about arts and culture, whether in print or not.

And don’t worry: the NOW newsletter will still arrive in your inbox every Thursday to keep you up to date with what’s not to be missed over the weekend. And Sunday Best will arrive every Sunday morning highlighting the editors’ favorite stories of the week. Subscribe to all our newsletters here.
